About the role

We have an exciting temporary opportunity for a Resourcing Officer to join our team in Exeter on a full time 6 months fixed term contract.

As a Resourcing Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a cost effective, customer focussed, recruitment service, utilising leading recruitment practices and our in-house technology to meet the requirements of the business and ensure Guinness Care is attracting and retaining the best possible talent.
  • Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Providing a professional resourcing and recruitment advisory service; managing efficient and effective campaigns that achieve business expectations and meet agreed KPIs.
  • Design and deliver training/coaching to managers, ensuring the correct application of recruitment policy and procedures.          
  • Attract a diverse range of applicants to Guinness Care by utilising candidate attraction methods that are accessible to all.  
  • Manage individual recruitment campaigns ensuring legal/GDPR compliance and the full utilisation of the applicant tracking system and general job boards.
  • Follow up with managers post campaign to identify opportunities for service improvement.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience of managing recruitment campaigns as an in-house recruiter or at a commercial recruitment agency.
  • Experience of using recruitment systems.
  • Proven experience of managing a high volume of vacancies.
  • Proven experience of designing effective recruitment campaigns.
  • Up to date knowledge of all requirements that relate to recruitment activity.
  • Proven experience of working within a customer service environment.
  • A flexible approach with an ability to handle a range of projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
